Hey guys! Sorry I have been a few weeks behind, it has been extremely intense and busy up on the mountain.
First I'd like to give a shout out to everyone who came to my B-Day party at my house. Thank you so very much for coming, it really meant a lot to me. It was so good to be home and around friends and family again!
So, here is what’s been going on; Eagles Landing Christian Academy (ELCA).
This is what we call an M3 Conference. Basically we went to a Christian school for there “Spiritual Enfaces” week. For three days we did music, dramas, services and break out labs for all the students. It was great! I got the role of "Brandon Taylor" in the play, I was the rebel kid whose father walked out on him and my mom sent me to a Christian school because I was on a downward spiral. It was fun! I also helped with break out labs for 7th and 10th grade students. It was difficult and challenging, but the second and third day we were there they really started to open up and get into some deep stuff.
I also got to meet Mark Hall of Casting Crowns. He is a very cool and respectable guy. Also a big jokester. lol
Life up here on the mountain has been busy lately. We have been writing papers, doing projects and taking care of several youth group retreats that have been here. I really enjoy meeting all the kids and hanging out with them. Gives us stuff to do when we have groups up here. lol
Also the 8 students up here are all learning how to grow closer to God everyday, and as most of you know, a journey like that is not always easy. We are now down to 6 students for now, on account of two of the students having to leave the institute. We all sat down and had to work through some stuff and now I believe that God is closer than ever. We will be looking out for each other more, holding each other more accountable. Please pray for us and especially for the two students I mentioned. Thank you.
Again I want to say thank you to my sponsors and every one out there supporting me.
I love you all and can't wait to see you again soon.
Oh, and FYI….keep an eye out in your mail boxes!!
Brandon
